How do I make a reservation?

  • Please include the following information in your message: Name, RV type, preferred site type, dates of stay, how many adults/children are in your party, if you have any pets, and a reliable email address.

Do you have an office?
No, please check our welcome board to find your site number on the map and to read our park rules. (Check your email and click the reservation link to confirm your reserved site number)

Do you have bathrooms and showers?
Yes we have an onsite bathhouse with toilets and showers.
Our bathhouse is closed in the winter months.

Are there fire rings and picnic tables?
Yes, there are fire rings and picnic tables at every site. 

We are happy to bring firewood to your site if there isn’t already a bundle waiting for you!

Protect our forest from tree killing pests by buying firewood locally and burning it onsite.

Do not leave firewood behind and please burn all of it.  Thank you!

What are your hours?
We are open for RV's all year long, check in is at 2:00PM and check out is at 11AM.

We do not allow check-ins after dark for safety reasons, please call us if you are running late!

Are pets permitted?
Yes, we love animals! We understand and appreciate that pets are often an important part of camping families. Below are some Park Pet Rules to insure a fun, peaceful and safe time for all our visitors!

  1. All pets must be kept on a short leash and never left unattended outside.

  2. Nuisance barking and digging are not permitted.

  3. All waste must be picked up in a plastic bag, tied securely and deposited in a trash can.

  4. Aggressive pets are not allowed.

  5. No pets allowed in our pond.

Do you have on site rentals?
No.

PARK POLICIES

RV POLICIES

Check In / Check Out

 Check in is at 12:30 PM EST and entitles you to your site until 12 PM the day you check out. Early check in is not permitted as the guest who paid for the site the night before you has paid for their site until noon. We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up, we do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Check out time is 12 PM. 

 Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please contact the park for instructions.

If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed. Please contact the park for more details. 

Site Changes

 You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites. 

Open Fires

 Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in designated fire rings.

Parking

 Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site or on our grass. Use of more than one site or rutted grass will result in additional charges. 

Storage 

Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table. 

Site and Park Navigation

 Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground. 

Washing 

 Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with 1 bucket of water and a sponge. Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors. 

Rugs

 Rugs bigger than 3’ x 2’ are not allowed as it kills the grass and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest. 


PET POLICIES

 Leash

 We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. 

Buildings and Pool Area

 Pets are not allowed in buildings or ponds. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts. 

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

 Be a good neighbor and please use the dog waste depot station provided and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites. 

Leaving Pets Unattended

 Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree or RV and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away. 

Pets Not Allowed on Furniture

 If you are staying in one of our airstreams, pets are not allowed on the furniture. For any incidents, there will be a $25.00 charge per occurrence. 

Pet Vaccinations

 Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date. 

Barking

 Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund. 

VEHICLE POLICIES

Speed Limit

 The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests. 

Parking

 Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges. 

 Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will cost additional fees for camping. A nightly registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle only. 

 No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block our bathroom doors or bridge. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites.

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts

 OHV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park. 

GENERAL PARK POLICIES

Severe Weather

 We love pets, so please take them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings. 

Visitors

 Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. Visitors may not bring any pets. Persimmon Creek RV Park reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm EST. No overnight visitors. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. All guests visiting someone in the park must register with management via text/email that includes which site they will be visiting along with that site’s current occupant’s name. 

Electrical Use

 You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. Please notify management so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. 

 Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so. 

Laundry

 We do not currently offer on-site laundry. 

Restrooms

 For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning as needed. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please.

 Guests under the age of 16 need adult supervision in the bathrooms. 

Catch/Release Pond, Trout Pond, and Creek

 Absolutely no swimming is allowed in either of the ponds, swim at your own risk in the creek with appropriate swimwear. Young children are required to have adult supervision in and around all bodies of water within the RV Park at all times. No lifeguard is on duty, play and swim at your own risk. 

 Absolutely no pets allowed in either of our ponds. 

 Do not allow your children to climb any trees under any circumstance. 

Quiet Time Policies

 Quiet time is from 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone being excessively loud will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund. 

Trash Disposal and Recycling 

 Please dispose of trash in the large dumpster located near the bath house.

 Please do not leave your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like possums and raccoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want to find any surprise critters visiting our park to snack on trash! 

 Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans.

 We do not offer trash disposal, a dumpster is available on the west side of the park near the bathrooms. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. 

 Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.

 We do not offer recycling services, please check http://www.cherokeecounty-nc.gov/168/Convenience-Centers for more information regarding recycling services in the town of Murphy. 

Children

 Young children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Horseplay, running, or diving in the creek is not permitted as rocks are slippery and roughhousing could result in serious injury. Riding bicycles without a parent outside is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. The ponds are closed at dusk and any children must return to their designated RV site. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk.  

Drones

 Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. 

Clotheslines

 Clotheslines are not permitted in our park. 

Fireworks and Firearms

 Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibition of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers.

 The prohibition of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Repairs

 Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs. 

Safety and Emergencies

 Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.

 If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, contact management right away. (No soliciting is allowed.) 

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please notify management so that staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
