Persimmon Creek Campground

We are pleased to announce that during the month of March 2012 we will be donating 10% of our gross monthly earnings to the Mountain Folk Center.  The Mountain Folk Center is located right here in Ranger, only 2 miles away from our campground.  It is a community effort to bring an agricultural venue back to Cherokee County.  It will be home to livestock sales, master gardener displays, rodeos and horse shows, among many other things.  We hope to have a harvest fair and an old fashioned tractor pull.  There will be many educational classes hosted there as well, such as learnig how to can all that wonderful fresh produce!

Tony and I hope  that all of our wonderful past guests and future friends will come camping here with us during the month of March, and help us give to our community.  Thank you so much for reading this!  We hope to see you soon!  

We were able to present our check to the Mountain Folk Center on April 14.  Thanks to all who camped with us during March!

Mother's Day Event:  Come camping with us on Saturday, May 12, at the regular price, and stay free on Sunday, May 13.
